Shijiazhuang Urban Rail Transit Line 2 is the backbone of the north-south line network. The line starts from Zhengding New District in the north and reaches Luancheng in the south. It is 60.4 km long and has 36 stations. Line 2 is constructed in phases, and the first phase of the project is from Jiahua to Xigucheng. The total length of the line is about 15.569km, both of which are underground.  There are 15 stations and 5 interchange stations. A section of Jiahua Depot is set up in the whole line, and extension conditions are reserved at Jiahua Station and Xigucheng Station.

The first phase of Line 2 is scheduled to start construction in early July 2016 and will be completed and commissioned at the end of June 2020.

The first phase of Shijiazhuang Urban Rail Transit Line 3 is a north-south-east-west backbone that runs through the city center.

The first phase project of Shijiazhuang Urban Rail Transit Line 3 is located in the central city area, laying along Lianmeng Road, Zhonghua Street, Xinshijiazhuang Station and Tabei Road.

The project starts from the west side of Xisanzhuang intersection and passes through Xinhua, Qiaoxi, Qiaodong, Yuhua and high-tech industrial development zones. It mainly passes through water park, Berlin district, railway transportation school, Xinbai Square, provincial cultural center, Shijiazhuang station, Zhuoda residential area and other major passenger distribution points.

The first phase of Shijiazhuang Urban Rail Transit Line 3 (two sides) has a length of 12.73km. There are 11 stations and 1 main substation. There are Xisanzhuang Station, Water Park Station, Berlin Zhuang Station, Shizhuang Station, East Square Station, Suncun Station, Tatun Station, Dongwang Station, Nanwang Station, Weitong Station, Sanchurch Station, and Tabei Main Substation. The stations are underground stations.

The winning project involved the whole of station hall lighting, platform lighting and station lighting: equipment area lighting, public area work lighting, public area energy saving lighting, cable mezzanine lighting, guiding sign lighting, covering general lighting, emergency lighting, induction Lighting, advertising lighting and security lighting. In view of the existing problems in the lighting design of subway underground stations, the optimization design suggestions are put forward from the aspects of lighting distribution, parameter calculation, system optimization, and more energy-saving LED lamp selection, and applied in actual design, and achieved good design effect.
