LED plant grow lamp series

LED plant grow lamp, adopt international advanced semiconductor, which are specially used for flowers and vegetables growth. With the lighting of the led lamps which contains spectrum suitable for plant growing, not only speed up the growth, but also extend the flowering, increase fruits quality, ensure greenhouse vegetables taste, and achieve in-season cultivation.
Plants can’t take apart from lights, which is essential for plants growth. It’s well known that lights play very important role on plants photosynthesis, growth, morphogenesis and regulation of metabolism etc. At present, in greenhouse, people use fluorescent lamp, high pressure sodium lamp and incandescent lamps to make up the lack of sunlight. The spectral energy distribution of these lamps is based on the light demands from people’s eyes, while such demands differ from the spectrum that plants need. LEDs have wide range of wavelength; parts are suitable for plant growing.
As lighting source, LED lamps can be widely used on plants cultivation, providing lights for greenhouse, plants factory. They’ve much advantage on speeding up plants growing, adjusting plants morphogenesis and energy saving etc. LEDs not only emit narrow monochromatic light, such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue and infrared etc, but also mix freely according to plants. Moreover, LEDs are low hear cool lighting source, can irradiate plants in short distance, improving space utilization. LED plant grow lamps can provide ideal light environment for agricultural biotechnology, reduce the usage of pesticides and hormones, increase food safety, they’re low power-consumed green lights.

Upon application testing, LED plant grow lamps are ideal for plants growing, flowering and bearing fruits. In general, indoor plants will get worse with time flying, the main reason is the lack of light exposure. The spectrum emitted by LED lamps not only speed up the plants growing, but also extend the flowering period and improve the quality. To use such high efficient lighting source on greenhouse or other agricultural production, can improve the worse taste of tomato, cucumber etc. due to insufficient sunlight.
Different light wavelength has different effect on plants photosynthesis. The demanded light wavelength is between 400nm and 700nm, blue light with wavelength between 400nm and 500nm and red light (610nm -720nm) contribute most, and they can provide the spectrum the plants demand. For led grow lamps, the ideal option is to mix these two wavelength lights. From the visual effect, combined red and blue plant grow lamps looks like pink color. Blue light will speed up the growth, while red light is useful for extending flowering period and bearing fruits. The ratio for red and blue is between 4:1 and 9:1, better 7:1.

Over the years, in the agriculture field, the mainly lighting sources are high pressure sodium lamp, fluorescent lamp, metal halide lamp and incandescent lamp etc. The shortcomings of these lights are high energy consumption and high operation cost. Energy consumption cost accounts for 50%-60% of the total operation cost. Therefore, to improve luminous efficiency and to reduce energy consumption has been the important issues in artificial plant lighting in this field. According to the statistics of the Ministry of agriculture, in China the total plant growing area are more than 20 million square meters, output value more than 200 billion CNY.
With the continuous development of modern Agriculture, the lighting demand for it is increasing, while followed by the significant increase in power consumption. With the continued popularity of energy-saving idea, the huge market opportunity and power consumption of agriculture lighting present new challenge to traditional lighting technology, providing new chance for the development and application of the new type agriculture lighting lamps.
