Spark LED Bulb series (MR16, GU10, PAR30, PRA38 etc.) are designed for replacement to conventional lamps. LED Bulb is part of Spark LED lighting series and incorporates High power LEDs.

Low energy consumption is why LED Bulb is considered extremely environmentally friendly. A typical incandescent light bulb operates by heating up a filament inside the bulb, which then gives off light, but also quite a lot of heat. The extra energy it takes to generate this heat is completely wasted since we only use the replacement bulb for light, and not usually for warmth. LED Bulb does not have a filament, and instead emits light due to an internal chemical process. This means there is no need for heat, and thus your LED Bulb runs on a significantly smaller amount of energy. If a typical incandescent bulb runs at about 100 watts, a comparable LED Bulb might run at 15 or 20 watts. The energy savings are immediate and substantial.
